Another nursery update

I think it is worth me saying out loud “I actually think it is great that Arthur goes to nursery now!” What a contrast to how I felt only two months ago. Gosh that beginning phase was tough, the guilt the worries the illnesses. We have totally moved on from that! Arthur now enjoys going to nursery and not only does that mean I get a ‘break’ to focus at work but the little man is getting stimulated and entertained in ways that I can’t facilitate myself.

Today nursery asked if they can go to the park with Arthur! I did not even know that was a thing! I was told he went on the swing and enjoyed it. I love that he managed to spend sometime outdoor enjoying the glorious weather today 🙂

He came home and did a bit stint of walking. Although he didn’t do it that many times, he honestly looked so much more stable already. I am still feeling the pity that I didn’t manage to capture some precious moments from yesterday when he was toddling, grinning then laughing. He fell forward, pushed back up with his arms and went again, grinning laughing. I am pretty sure that once you get more familiar with walking in a few more days, we won’t see this extremely cute reaction while you attempt to walk anymore. Still, my liittle one, I hope you will continue to try hard at stuff in life just like you are doing these days with walking. Try hard while being happy and if you stumble, get back up and try again while laughing! Make sure you are proud of yourself after every step too.

Tonight you surprised me by not crashing into sleep at bedtime despite waking from nap at 1:30pm. You and I still read a little, played for a bit (you on purposely hid your dummy under my leg while I was sitting cross-legged and as always you wanted it back straight away but you struggled to find it a couple times so I helped), and you giggled while I stroke your arm a little just before bed.
